Dr. Amy is home for the rest of the year, but we wanted to highlight our incredible travels of 2024. We started the year in Arizona with our incredible friends from New Way Academy.
April, my team and I headed to The National Head Start Convention, right in our home town of Portland, Oregon.
At the end of April, I traveled down to Ashland for the Jackson Care Connect Conference to talk to healthcare workers about workforce wellness.
And by month’s end, we were in the Gorge with Mid Columbia Children’s Council, supporting leaders in Head Start.
I’ll never forget hosting Prevent Child Abuse Oregon‘s training on Trauma Responsive Environments, what a phenomenal group.
The summer really heated up with trainings. We supported Virginia Garcia‘s healthcare workforce as well as their leadership teams.
And, I got to hang out with the most incredible group supporting childhood cancer warriors with UKANDU.
In August, I traveled all over the state supporting Oregon Child Development Coalition’s workforce to teach about tough behaviors and fill up their cups.
And then, we were hosted by the Clackamas Early Learning Hub for an unforgettable summer event training over 100 professionals in Cards for Connection.
Off to Eugene’s Head Start in Lane County, then Community Action in Seaside – Oh these early educators are so amazing!
I traveled to Iowa, trained champions in child abuse at Iowa Chapter for Children’s Advocacy and saw my coach, Megan Hale!
Then, more OCDC trainings in Jackson County & Klamath Falls.
I got to showcase my book at the American Academy of Pediatrics Conference in September, with my co-author, RJ Gillespie.
I got to take a pitstop in Clackamas to support Clackamas County Children’s Commission at a fabulous gala!
And Eastern Oregon greeted me and my team in October.
I stopped over in New Jersey to support their incredible team (no one took pics!!) and then wrapped up this year’s travel in San Antonio, TX with this incredible team from CareOregon.
Friends, I’m tired and staying home for the rest of the year to recoup! But we’ll be ready for you in 2025, so if you’re ready to partner with us, here’s where you find us! Coming soon to your state in 2025!
Also, you can imagine that with all of this work, we’re growing! Whew, we could use the help!
