Shout Out to Eastern Oregon

Last week, my team and I traveled to Eastern Oregon to present at the Blue Mountain Early Learning Summit. There were over 450 attendees representing various roles in early childhood spaces. What a day to remember!

I thought it would be fun to tell our story in pictures!

First of all, we experienced a super warm welcome of roses, cards, and swag bags! Every participant received an oil diffuser. Woohoo! Melodi and Marissa from Intermountain ESD left not detail unnoticed!

Here’s our team! Allison spoke about resilient leadership as well as how screens affect mood. And Michael discussed how educators can use PRIDE skills from Parent-Child Interaction Therapy as well as safety in early childhood spaces.

Check out Dr. Michael Schwartz chatting with a participant. He’s such a compassionate, brilliant gem! Folks loved him!

Check out Allison Whisenhunt slaying the day! Folks ate up her content and had curious questions!

And here I am, talking about the importance of connection! What an honor.

Of course, we had to catch a group picture of all of us. Our amazing hosts and coordinators from Intermountain ESD as well as stakeholders from Blue Mountain Early Learning Hub. What an incredibly dedicated bunch! The day went off without a hitch and folks were engaged and grateful to the wisdom and knowledge my team shared all day. We poured out our hearts!

On the way home, we celebrated with yummy food and shakes from Bozo Burger in Boardman, Oregon. We spent our time reveling in the wisdom, experience, and passion that early educators in Oregon have for our children and families in this state.

What a weekend!
